The beginning...

Well, it is June 8, 2020, and I am writing my first blog post.
I can’t help but think back, this being the 70th or 80th day of self-isolation (not counting, really) due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and I must say that in trying to find the good in an awful situation - we are now past the 2,OOO,OOO cases and 115,000 deaths here in the US, and with pressure from the White House to open up the country, seeing the madness (for I could not call it anything else) of the crowds on the beaches and public places bunched uptight and no masks - the second wave of infections is already happening in some states as we speak…..so enough of that.
My initial point is that in looking back it dawned on me that the last 20 years have been rough on this country, its people and the economy; beginning with September 11, 2001, then the mega-recession of 2008, and now, the Covid-19 pandemic of 2019 of which we have not seen the end.
But back to the good - keeping in mind that the good is the enemy of the better and the better the enemy of the best - the isolation gave me the time and space to finally do something I’ve been wanting to do for years, which is to re-organize my photo library, which altogether amounted to +/- 30,000 images, I also decided to change both editing and asset management software, go through the multiple learning curves and then start work on a new website, since my previous site had been hacked and used by spammers to do whatever it is they do, as a direct result the site was blacklisted by search engines and had to be shut down.
I am but a few days from publishing this new site, with a new domain, new site architecture, and built-in protection…and this site also provides the ability to have a blog, which I’ve wanted to do for a long time.
So…here we are…and here we go!!

Beautifully done. No sales message? Do you want people to view the photos only? I would think you could easily sell prints.I see several used for framing and home decor. This is not about money as much as sharing this incredible conceptual beauty with others. It has value. My 2 cents😘
